x-mas

Well X-mas has come and gone. We spread it out over three days and I think that is just too much we were all worn out, especially Krista. She did a great job with dinner and the family planning. Everyone had a good time and good conversation. The kids all got what they wanted and then some. This is just one of many pics to come of Cauy and a Pound Puppy he got from
Gammies. Hope everyone had a good Xmas and a Good New Year too come. Be safe.

What a week

On Tues. I got a new rookie. This is one thing I love about my job, I have a chance to help train a new officer and hopefully make a good impression. However this rookie is the devil and he has brought hell with him. In the past three days we have been involved in catching four home invasion/armed robbery suspects, two officers were shot at and they shot the suspect who was high on PCP, we shot him with less than leathal rounds and pepper fogger, he still ran from us and we had to fight him. Early Fri. mourning myself and another officer were in a high speed pursuit with a stolen car and I wound up wrecking my 2005 police car. I was so mad, now I am sore.

Once again I ask that you all pray for the officers, we need it now more than ever.

NLR insurance

I took Cauy to the DR. today and found out on Jan 1. Ar Childrens Hospital will no longer take NLR city insurance. For those of you who live in NLR I encourage you to attend the City Council meeting in Jan. and let the Mayor know how you feel about this. Cauy has been treated for respritory problems since birth and little by little the dr.'s are not taking our insurance. The police and fire dept. are here to protect the citizens of this city, yet no one seems to want to protect us.

I'm Back

I have just about made it through my first semester of college. It is a lot tougher than I thought, well math is anyway. Not a lot has happened since my last post, yet at the same time work has been busy. I ask that you continue to pray for the officers that work in your community. Things in NLR are getting bad.

I would like everyone to send me a post and let me know what is going on in your world.

Long time no post

It looks like a month since I've put anything on here. We've been so busy at work, the crazy's are coming out. I would like to ask for everyones prayers, in the past week we have had an ofc. find a gun on a subj., one ofc. get shot at, at point blank range and another ofc. shoot a suspect. In the past month , I myself have been in four fights and been covered in blood. I know my family is worried especially Krista and my mom.

Home life on the other hand is wonderful. I registered for school in hopes of a sociology degree. We are doing home improvements, which in an old house is more of a challenge. I replaced the fixtures in the bathtub and what was supposed to be a 1-2 hour project wound up being 10 hours. I AM SORE, and have cuts all over my hands, but Krista is happy and it's satisfing to know i did something with my hands.

We have decided to keep Cauy at PV for school, and the other kids went home last week. Cody and Tyler were such big helps around the house and with Cauy, I miss them. Britnee and I are still working on our relationship, she's a teenage girl, so that should say it all.

Other than that life is good.
